Rose, Strawberry, and Lemon Infused Water

Rose, Strawberry, and Lemon Infused Water

Now more than ever is a great time to focus your health and well-being. I know it’s difficult at times to get in the daily water recommendation, so I decided to step my water game up and am doing so in style with infused water. I’m sharing with you my recent play on, Lemon & Strawberry Infused Water.

If you know me I have never been able to drink plain water, I’ve always had to add a little flavor to help me meet my daily intake goals. I try to drink half my body weight in ounces; for example, if you weight 120 pounds, that’s at least 60 ounces of water a day. Remember, before increasing your water intake, make sure you consult with your healthcare provider.

The rose bushes in our yard are in full bloom, and so are the strawberries in our gardens. I just love the smell of fresh roses and strawberries, So I’m making the most of them with this infused water.

Strawberries are a good source of natural antioxidants and antioxidant enzymes that provide protection against harmful free radicals and play an essential role in protecting human health. Lemons contain plant compounds called flavonoids. Many have antioxidant properties that appear to help protect your cells from damage. Please keep in mind there are no human studies to support these findings.

If you love rosewater, then you must try this! It’s so simple but so elegant and invigorating. I’m also using lemon slices in this water to get more flavor from the zest.

This Rose, Lemon, and Strawberry infused water is the perfect drink for outdoor parties, barbecues, chilling at the pool or if you are just in the mood for a refreshing and healthy drink.
