Fall is a time for hot soups and chowders, and this one is sure to please. This shrimp and corn chowder recipe makes an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. It’s warm and substantial, yet light and refreshing. My husband serves it with crusty homemade rolls while my son enjoys it by itself. Yum!
The creamy roux base is the perfect backdrop to the sweetness of shrimp and corn. The chowder is finished with a touch of seafood boil, which adds just enough heat to make it interesting without overwhelming the delicate flavors of the seafood. If you like your soup spicy, add a dash more seafood boil in the end.
The soup is easy to make and can be assembled in less than 30 minutes. It’s great for a weeknight meal or served at your next gathering of friends.
This recipe is a great example of how to make a simple, delicious soup. It’s perfect for the holidays when you don’t have much time to cook but still want something special. The addition of shrimp and sweet corn will delight your palate and leave you wanting more.
I hope you enjoyed the recipe and that you give it a try soon. Check out the recipe video below! Make sure to let me know how it turns out for you! Dinner’s ready, so I’ll be off now—Be Well-Omniley
Greetings. I hope this post finds you well. I am wrapping up fall with a refresh for our pool house entryway in partnership with MacKenzie Childs. I love how I can incorporate their Halloween decor pieces into my classic and timeless home decor style and not sacrifice my classy look. I will soon be transitioning over to Christmas decor in the main home, but I am pleased we will be able to enjoy the Halloween decor for Halloween. 🎃 👻 I am so excited for Halloween I am actually thinking about dressing up as Jason and scaring the neighborhood kids.
All of the pieces I used from this line is still available and linked for you to purchase now and be ready for Halloween 2022. I hope this post brings you more inspiration to celebrate the present. Be Well- Omniley

Greetings. I hope this post finds you well. I got so many inquiries on my Halloween display I decided to share all the details with you. I made the family room wall my Halloween accent wall this year and these bats did the trick. Just ask my son how realistic these bat look at night…I hung them up at night and called him in the room and I was screaming bats. I also used some staple pieces from MacKenzie Childs I think this display is the perfect balance between chic, spooky, and classy. I hope this post inspires you to live each moment to the fullest.
