Nighttime Skincare Routine Reboot

Thank you to Luminance Skincare for partnering in today's post. As always, all thoughts and styling are my own.

Greetings. I hope this post finds you well. With all that’s going on, it’s so easy to forget the simple things. I’ve shared my skincare routine with you in the past, but I wanted to get more specific with my nighttime regimen. A few months ago, I felt it was time for a beauty product reboot, so I decided to partner with Luminance Skincare to test out their line.

If there’s one thing my early 40s have taught me is the importance of skincare. I’m slowly trying to transition to more cruelty-free products while focusing on keeping my skin looking younger. What I love about Luminance Skincare is their desire to target short- and long-term skincare goals without any adverse effects on your health, your skin or the environment, and without compromise of high-quality ingredients. Their motto, “We do good without doing harm. Naturally”.

Skincare isn’t one size fits all, so it’s of utmost importance to know your skin type. The most essential beauty products are probably your cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. Since I have combination skin, my morning routine varies from my nighttime routine. One of the great things about Luminance Skincare is they have bundle sets and offer samples, which gives you a bit of flexibility when it comes to figuring out your skincare needs.

A few products from their line have shown a dramatic impact on my skin, but this post will speak specifically to the products from their collection that I have added to my nighttime regimen.

For example, I’m really excited about Luminance Delicate Facial Cleanser; it is perfectly pH-balanced and organic. It leaves my skin squeaky clean without the drying effect. You can check out their website to determine what is best for your skin type.

A few other products that I have incorporated into my nighttime regimen include Luminance Rosewater Toner, Luminance Deep Hydration Moisturizer, and the Luminance Peptide Eye Cream. The Rosewater Toner is perfectly pH balanced for my skin and your skin as well. Did you know that tap water ph could be off the charts??? Can I tell you a secret…I use this throughout the day to make sure I have that fresh, dewy glow all day. At night I follow the Rosewater Toner with the Deep Hydration Moisturizer. The Deep Hydration Moisturizer absorbs into my skin quickly and leaves it non-greasy and so smooth; it provides the perfect amount of hydration for my skin before going to bed.

Now to my saving grace, the Luminance Peptide Eye Cream. As you all know, I am an earlier riser, although that is not necessarily the same for my puffy eyes and the few wrinkles and lines I’ve noticed near my eyes and mouth over the past few months. I have been using the Peptide Eye Cream in both areas for almost six weeks now, and I am super pleased with the results! I no longer have to use the Scarlett O’Hara method (pitching my cheeks and around my eyes) to look perky in the morning.

I’m excited to share that Luminance is offering a Sample Kit (includes Delicate Cleanser, Rosewater Toner, and Deep Hydration Moisturizer) FOR FREE…use code: NONTOXIC just cover the shipping around $3.95 or use code “OMNILEY15” for 15% off regular purchase.

Finally, as I have said before, your beauty routine includes your diet too! Stay hydrated and continue to monitor your diet for inflammation triggering foods. Your outer health is a direct reflection of your inner health– and a better you means better skin. Omniley.
